Using the System
On-Screen Display
The system shows the following for all display views:
1. Quick Menu: Right-click to open the quick menu to the system.
2. Channel Status Indicator ( ): Shows the status of the channels.
• : Video loss / : Alarm Event / : Motion event

d drive storage indicator: Shows the amount of storage space being used (i.e. 11% means
the hard drive is 11% full).
5. Ti
me & Date: Displays current system date and time.
6. Channel Titl
e: You can customize the channel with a unique name for each channel. See
“EVENT SETUP” on page 29.
7. Di
splay: Show live video and playback in single channel full-screen, quad, and split-screen
configurations.

• : System is recording. If there is no
"R" symbol on-screen, then your
system is NOT recording.
• : Scheduled recording enabled.
• : Audio enabled / disabled.
• : System locked.
• : Ethernet connected.
• : USB connected.
• : Live image is paused.
